Our Current Projects
The Gary Rubin Independence and Advocacy Fund
Up to $5,000 per year to assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to meet emergency situations such as medical needs, utility needs, housing needs, scholarship needs, and other major emergencies where no other source of funding is available.
General Grants Fund
To expend up to $25,000 per year to assist in educational, special projects, and seed money towards professional development; advocacy; research; and other best practice projects.
Newsletter Project
To facilitate and disseminate best practices and advocacy. Volunteers needed to contribute to the newsletter.
Educational Interest Free Loan Fund
Up to $15,000 available, to be reimbursed, to help support approved endeavors such as conferences and workshops.
Advisory Council
To advise the NJAAIDD board as to best practices, NJAAIDD actions, and promote policies and advocacy.
